jparrie
Hi there Before I downloaded the current version CC would get rid of around 50Mb of rubbish after each session. Now I notice that it is only about 0.5 Mb, if that. Is it working properly? What is going on? John

jparrie
Well I actually had everything checked apart from anything in the advanced section, exactly the same as before the upgrade. However, just to update I have just checked everything but "Tray Notifications Cache' and "Window Size/Location" and it's just removed 69Mb. Interesting. JDPower
yes, there are some options in the advanced section which remove quite a bit. Though I wouldn't recommend ticking ANY of the advanced section (except custom files and folders if used) unless you know exactly what you're doing, and what will result after doing so. Particularly the hotfix uninstallers can cause problems and should be used sparingly. Also cleaning old prefetch data is pointless and if anything will probably only slow your computers performance. Check the Beginners Guide for more info on the advanced section. Some users, as I'm sure you probably noticed, have reported some things not being cleaned with the new version so that may also explain why you've noticed less being cleaned.
