I tried running in safe mode, and the program crashed with the following error information: AppName: ccleaner.exe AppVer: 1.33.0.382 ModName: kernel32.dll ModVer: 5.1.2600.2945 Offset: 00012a5b I have also attached the file that Windows creates for a crash if anyone is interested. TheFiresInTheSky Posted October 20, 2006 Share Posted October 20, 2006 it looks like its a windows problem. do you have your XP CD? if so, uninstall Ccleaner. go to start then run (windows key+R). type in "sfc /scannow" without the quotes. it will scan your system files and may ask you to insert that XP CD if it finds any issues. it should repair these. after it's done, reboot, install Ccleaner, then reboot again and give it a try let us know if that works. MrG might have to fix something in the way ccleaner cleans openoffice.(although I haven't noticed this issue before ) Anyway let me know if that works.
