Humpty
What's an ipod? Quote: We recently discovered that a small number - less than 1% - of the Video iPods available for purchase after September 12, 2006, left our contract manufacturer carrying the Windows RavMonE.exe virus. This known virus affects only Windows computers, and up to date anti-virus software which is included with most Windows computers should detect and remove it. Moderators Andavari Posted October 18, 2006 Moderators Share Posted October 18, 2006 I'd like to know why some top companies are lacking in the area of clean computing and missing things like Trojan and virus infected devices and shipping them to consumers now-a-days. Moderators rridgely Posted October 19, 2006 Moderators Share Posted October 19, 2006 I guess its really not apples fault so much as its their distributors fault(same for McDonalds) But you would think they would have been a little cooler about it. As you might imagine, we are upset at Windows for not being more hardy against such viruses, and even more upset with ourselves for not catching it. What would happen if say a creative mp3 player shipped with a mac virus on them(yeah I know there really aren't any). I bet they would suing creative in heart beat for saying they are upset with apple because their OS isn't secure enough.
