New_Age
Hi, I'm wanting to use a Icon dock program like the ones I see in the Desktops Thread. JohnDemolition
RK Launcher's latest nightly build. i've had too many problems with other dock programs, so i'm sticking with RKLauncher. just a few notes. on my system, RocketDock flickers when it stops hovering. it also injects a dll into every program and doesn't tell you if it's active... quite useless IMO. as for ObjectDock, i just don't like it because it's shareware. the free version is fine, but i just like RKLauncher a little better. RKLauncher has support for ObjectDock docklets anyways.
Moderators rridgely Posted October 3, 2006 Moderators Share Posted October 3, 2006 I think RKLauncher might have been the one I used. I'm not real big on the doc programs and only tried one that didn't install anything it was just a standalone .exe.(thought that was rocketdock maybe not.) JohnDemolition
AFAIK, RocketDock only comes with an installer. it also might have been Y'z Dock since they're both similar.
mps69_1999
Objectdock has an installer too. It's also quite resource hog too. IMO. RK is nice and light. Yzdock has it's problems too, one major one is, it's really difficult to get your hands on it. No one is allowed to disribute it any more. I've got RK and it's never let me down so far.
