I hate using F11 and to have my browser header hide

I've been a hardware engineer since 1982, when I received my first computer, a Compaq Portable Desktop with Monochrome screen.

Since this time, I've come to use the Header and Address Bar of the browser and rely on it. I don't like using F11 to get back the display. I don't understand why developers of today would remove something so simple that's been around for decades without a way to make it an option for those who want it.

Is there any way to keep the header at all times without extra keystrokes involved to bring it back?

I appreciate any help! Sorry, I'm old school and can't force it out of me by following someone else's preferences.
