CCleaner User2021
I have it to open at a set page. That works fine. I run CCleaner utility every few days (which does a great job though it could delete much of Program Files, Windows Apps but I suppose this seems risky. Also much of the InFlight folder in WinSxS doesn't seem to be needed. Windows 10 sure likes to eat up space. Anyway every time CCleaner Browser starts I'm logged out. What should I look out for in Settings? Something is deleting the cookies. Yet I have it set to never delete cookies or History, just the Cache. CCleaner User2021
I didn't word the title or the post very well. It seems we can't edit or delete a post here. Why? Anyway here's a rewrite: I have it set to “Continue where you left off” when I power up every morning. That works fine except I need to log in whatever websites I was logged into the previous night. It never used to be like this. Every time CCleaner Browser starts I'm logged out of everything. What should I look out for in Settings? Something is deleting the cookies. Yet I have it set to never delete cookies or History, just the Cache and I can’t see any setting that would delete cookies on exit. Yet if I close the browser and open it right up I’m still logged in. Yet overnight my cookies vanish. Who is eating my cookies!!!
Moderators nukecad Posted August 13 Moderators Share Posted August 13 If you are deleting the browser 'session' as part of clearing the cache then that will log you out of websites. Its the browser session that stores 'where you left off'. I don't know if CCleaner Browser clears that by default? However in CCleaner itself if you have 'Smart Cleaning>Enable automatic browser cleaning' turned on, and have 'session' selected for the browser in Custom Clean, then that would do it. From what you say about closing and reopening the browser that option isn't set though. Another way it could be getting cleared is if you have it set to clean on a schedule, or to run a clean on Windows startup From what you describe, with it happening each day but not if you just close/open the browser, then either of those sounds a possibiliy here. PS. I believe there is a time limit set on users editing their own posts, It's an anti-spam measure. (That may change when you have made more posts, or it may not, depends how the admin has set it). *** Out of Beer Error ->->-> Recovering Memory *** Keep getting logged out of websites?
