Anamandy
Hi, I would like to remove CCleaner off my computer but when I right click the option doesn't come up. How do I go about doing this? Thanks for any help.
Moderators hazelnut Posted February 3, 2023 Moderators Share Posted February 3, 2023 Try using the uninstaller in CCleaner itself to uninstall it (tools, highlight ccleaner and click uninstall) and please give more info on your Windows version and other info as it's hard to guess on your problem otherwise. Where are you right clicking for example? Anamandy
There is no uninstaller in CCleaner. All I see is a file folder under CCleaner and under that when I click on the down arrow it shows CCleaner Homepage. Right clicking does nothing. I found out it has put itself in my system files (system 32) when I click on the icon on my desktop. It even brings me to the location but I can delete it because it says I need administrative permission.
Anamandy
Just want to add I am the administrator and have full access of my computer but apparently that isn't enough to remove this program.
Anamandy
Just tried it again and now I am getting a message that I need permission from trustedinstaller to make changes to this file.

Hazelnut is talking about this; is this not what you see? *** Out of Beer Error ->->-> Recovering Memory *** Worried about 'Tracking Files'? Worried about why some files come back after cleaning?
