CCleaner not compatible with Windows 11 v22H2

Recommended Posts

Hi!

This is my first post here, so please, be nice!

I just installer W11 22H2 and I got an error message saying that CCleaner was removed from my sistem because is not compatible with my version of Windows.

My version is Windows 11 Pro N x64 22H2

Hope to get some help with this issue of mine.

Thank you.

regards,

DANIEL

Windows Security (Windows Defender) will sometimes do that.

In particular it will remove older versions of CCleaner. (Which is one reason why you should keep your CCleaner up to date).

What CCleaner version did you have that got removed? If you can remember.

I'd just try reinstalling the latest CCleaner again.

Hopefully it will be fine now that you have the latest version of CCleaner installed.

You could turn on CCleaners automatic updating or notification of if there is one available. (Options>Updates).

TBH I don't have those turned on myself because I know it's usually about once a month- and I see on the "Announcements" here when there is a new one.
