Spartan
They used to be in the portable app itself in a file named ccleaner.ini but after the latest version, CCleaner ignores that file if I were to run it on another machine and I have to reconfigure all the settings again then it remembers them on that machine only so it's not really portable this way
Yaron
I'd also appreciate a reply for that question. Also, the last version includes many more files and folders. And It's not localized. What's going on? Thank you.
Moderators Nergal Posted May 3, 2022 Moderators Share Posted May 3, 2022 I've pointed admin to this thread but for now do as i did and take ccleaner.exe and ccleaner64.exe in the base folder, and (if wanted) drag the dlls from the folder best describing your pc (64 or 32) to the same folder. as far as i can tell this should re portablize it. ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. Yaron
@Nergal, Thank you. That has solved the issue. I hope they fix it in the next release.
