Cookies & Spyware

Can I use CCleaner to rid SSD of all the cookies that just deleting them in the history file never did these past years? - AND - should I use this for the deletion of my internet history as well? (I haven't deleted my "history" for years but I have deleted my "cookies" but that didn't really do any good for this morning I learned that there were over 1500 of them. - AND - should I gthe "Pro" version or not?

Are you saying that you cleaned the cookies but hundreds of them come straight back?

If you are then that will be because you have your browser synced.
(Putting cookies etc. that you have used on all your machines if they are not already there is what syncing is meant to do).
