CCleaner crashes On Opening

Not sure if this is in the correct location as it did seem to be a bug of some description.

So i have the full version of CCleaner but did not want to uninstall the program as not able to find my membership details at the present.
Now I have read on this website and in general on line that from time to time users have experienced C Cleaner upon execution suddenly goes off meaning the program tried to start but just manages to show a flash of the screen upon the desk top and vanishes meaning the program has not started.
I'm not able to update the program and even if i get in to update it just states that my version is the current version and yes very annoying, paying for a product  and not being able to use it.

Absolutely not suggesting it was anything to do with the actual program and maybe its a virus, or just some bug that was created when the Microsoft updates came through, I do not know?
But deleted all temp files, clear Cache files, ran a check for spyware or virus tried reloading CCleaner still had this problem flashing up on the screen and immediately goes off.
Then I read someone had disconnected their PC from the Net and tried starting the program and theirs worked, Well I tried that and this did not work.
For anyone having this problem this is what I did, the program is now running OK..

Go to where your CCleaner is located on the drive mine which is the C drive / Programs /CCleaner.. Click that file.. On opening I clicked on CCleaner 64 soon as the program opens it crashed, flashed up and went off the same problem still there..

So I clicked on ccleaner (update_helper) and just let it go through the motions and then tried starting the program again once this process was completed..
Cured!
The program now starts OK and able to use all functions of the program after testing it.
Hope this helps someone who encounters this problem.
