ColtonYYZ
Hello! I'm sorry if this has been asked already but I wasn't able to quickly find any thread asking it. I am wondering why Recuva can't see network drives such as NAS drives - even if they are mapped in Windows 10 as a drive. The only way it seems to recover files from one of those disks is to physically remove it from the NAS bay and physically plug it into my desktop. If one doesn't have any more SATA ports to do so, how else can I get Recuva to see my network drive to scan it for deleted files? Thank you! Moderators Nergal Posted January 10, 2022 Moderators Share Posted January 10, 2022 No recuva cannot see nas you are correct ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. Moderators Andavari Posted January 10, 2022 Moderators Share Posted January 10, 2022 I think someone has asked before about recovering from a NAS, although the supplier of the NAS might have software tools available that can be ran from within the NAS OS itself.
