Rubbond
I have used CCleaner (the free version) on my 2013 i-Mac successfully for years. About a year ago it suddenly stopped working. This might have been around the time time my computer became very slow and I put in anoth 16 GB of RAM memory. The problem was CCleaner wouldn't open, and if it did, it just spent forever (literally hours) and found nothing. I tried removing the CCleaner software and replaced with a new download but to no avail. I now have Version 1.18.30, which is an App of 4.6 MB and installed (or published maybe) on 30 Sep. 2020 (I only installed it knowingly yesterday). Could this version be too new for my now 8 year old computer? How can I best rectify matters? Double clicking on the icon in the tool bar does nothing, right clicking gives the option "force stop", the right clicking again gives the option "open", but the CCleaner window doesn't open. Nor does it open when right clicking on the App itself. Many thanks for your help!
