Moderators Nergal Posted December 2, 2021 Moderators Share Posted December 2, 2021 Again? What do you mean? Do you have smart cleaning or fetch updates enabled? What version of windows? What version of ccleaner (don't say latest that means nothing) ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. sussertown
5.87.9306 Windows 10 pro 64bit. I see no options in the options that would help. Most are unchecked.
Moderators nukecad Posted December 3, 2021 Moderators Share Posted December 3, 2021 You have shown 'Advanced' and 'Settings' - Nergal asked specifically about 'Smart Cleaning' and 'Updates'. If either 'Smart Cleaning' or 'Updates' (Keep CCleaner updated automatically) is enabled then Windows will put a CCleaner icon in your system tray. *** Out of Beer Error ->->-> Recovering Memory *** Worried about 'Tracking Files'? Worried about why some files come back after cleaning? sussertown
I use custom cleaning. You'll have to provide more information. I can check again for updating.

Also eighth item in that list (updates) take a screen shot of that ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.
