br549
Even though Smart Cleaning is not enabled, CCleaner does not exit when the CCleaner window is closed on Windows 11. Instead it remains in the task notification area.
Moderators nukecad Posted November 7, 2021 Moderators Share Posted November 7, 2021 As well as Smart Cleaning: If you have "Keep CCleaner updated automatically" selected in Options>Updates then you will also get an icon in the System Tray area of the taskbar. That's because the update checker runs as a scheduled task, so Windows gives it an icon in the tray. If you have neither Smart Cleaning or Automatic updates enabled then it may be a different issue with Win 11. *** Out of Beer Error ->->-> Recovering Memory *** Worried about 'Tracking Files'?
