Mika S
In CCleaner's smart cleaning settings, "Perform cleaning automatically at shutdown and report" is selected. However, this does not seem to happen with Chrome browser (Finnish language, 64-bit, Version 95.0.4638.69 (Official build)) and Windows 11 Home (21H2). Manually cleaning would seem to be successful (?).

Guest MeganCCleaner
Hi @Mika SThis could indicate that CCleaner is not recognizing when the Google Chrome browser has been closed. Can you please see if this problem can be resolved by configuring Chrome as follows? Open Chrome > click Menu > Settings Click Advanced > System Move the "Continue running background apps when Google Chrome is closed" switch to the left, to the "Off" position
Mika S
@MeganCCleaner Hey, Thanks for the advice. This seemed to solve the problem, at least for the Google browser :) If I notice anything else about this, I will come back to it.
