From system.log (this message gets repeated many times):

(com.piriform.ccleaner.CCleanerAgent): Service only ran for 0 seconds. Pushing respawn out by 1 seconds.

The crash happens every second because macOS attempts to run the agent every second, only for it to crash immediately.

  • OS: macOS 11.6 (Big Sur)
  • Arch: x86_64
  • CCleaner version: 1.18.30

I don’t have the pro version of CCleaner.

Interestingly, there is no CCleanerLib.framework in /Library/Frameworks.

Worried about 'Tracking Files'? Worried about why some files come back after cleaning? See this link:

Guest johnccleaner

We've seen this reported a handful of times from our users (which is quite strange, you'd think it would affect everyone on this version of the OS if affects anyone). At this time, we do not have a fix to offer, in part because we've yet to identify why it affects a few users and not most.

At this time, we have an all-new version of CCleaner for Mac in testing, and hope to have it released 'soon' (though I've not yet been given an ETA as to when so I can't say more than that yet!) which should take care of this issue, among quite a few others that have shown up.

Please feel free to update when this version is available, and that should take care of the matter for you.
