epigramx Posted September 6, 2021 Share Posted September 6, 2021 If you setup in Options->Updates to do nothing and you clearly see in the program itself at Tools->Startup that nothing from ccleaner is now up: the program still tries to penetrate a firewall which gives the impression you try to drop under the radar against the user which is offensive. I suggest to remove any attempt of the updater to contact anything on the internet unless the user sets it up that way. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
