I have version v5.83.9050 Ccleaner Free installed on Windows 7 Laptop Computer.  I recently ran a Health Check & removed what all it scanned.  I then did a Custom Clean & it scanned using the default Applications checkboxes & all the Windows lists checkboxes I could add a check to.  It has ever since been logging me out websites that normally I would be logged into when I open the website again, like the next day or so.  I use Firefox & I have been into settings & tried a few things with no change.  I don't believe it is browser related.  How could Ccleaner have anything to do with this "problem"?

If you are doing a Custom Clean, then be sure that you have "session" and "saved passwords" unchecked if you don't want to lose that information:

If you are using HealthCheck, you can adjust the what is to be cleaned by clicking on the Privacy tab after you run the scan and before you clean:

To add to Daves reply:

If you did clean 'Saved Passwords' for Firefox when using Custom Clean then you will have to save each one again in Firefox.
Firefox should prompt you to save them again when you log into each site again.

Unless of course you had had the foresight to make a backup of your Saved Passwords that you can put back:
(Like all backups it's something you should do regularly).

If you clear 'Session' with Custom Clean then it will log you out of all sites you were logged into but the passwords will still be saved.
Firefox should paste them back into the sites login boxes next time you want to login, if you have it set to do so. (And if allowed, some sites won't allow that and insist that you type it in each time).

Worried about 'Tracking Files'? Worried about why some files come back after cleaning? See this link:
