Any Bundled Installations?

Will the latest verson, 584, of CCleaner portable (zip file) or CCleaner slim install anything else if I use them on win 10?
Such as a toolbar, a browser, an antivirus, etc?

Not judging, just asking. :)

Thanks.

The CCleaner SLIM version is always released a bit after any new version; when it is it will be HERE :-)

portable never comes with bundle.  How would they install anyway portable you unzip and place files, this does not work for bundles

Or am I somehow misunderstanding the question

Same with slim, adding a bundle would negate the entire idea of slim

ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION

DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.

Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)

ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.

Portable doesn't install anything.

The Slim installer does not bundle anything else.

The Standard installer will offer you another product, but it's clear that it is doing so and has big 'Decline' / 'Accept' buttons.

Thanks to both for the reassurances. :)
I've always been a big fan of CCleaner  and I am still.
I just wanted to get info about the current situation.

As to the question of  "How would they install anyway portable you unzip and place files, this does not work for bundles ...",
The short answer is you just click on an exe file or the Zip file.
See here about the Zip files:

With Windows 10 there is no need to unzip, eg. with the CCleaner Portable zip you can open it in File Explorer just like any folder and double click the exe to run.

If you are concerned about any file, or zip, that you have downloaded then you can right click on it and 'Scan With' your AV/AM:

Alternatively you could submit it to VirusTotal and have them scan it for you with multiple engines, it's quick to use: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/home/upload

Here's a scan of the latest CCleaner zip done a minute ago, out of 59 AV/AM scanning engines used none found any concern:
(PS. See that 'refresh' icon top right? In VirusTotal it will first show you the last scan done for the file that you have uploaded, clicking that icon does a new scan of your uploaded file)

Always a good idea.  Note that any CCleaner build from 5.63 onwards goes through some rather rigorous security protocols before being released (hence the unusually long gap between the 5.63 and 5.64 releases while we got that built out) and anything coming out of VT is bound to be a false positive.  That said, if you pick up a copy of CCleaner (or something purporting to be CCleaner) from anything other than the official www.ccleaner.com website, it would be strongly recommended to run it through VT.
