Hi @tmp_trashWe're sorry to hear of how you experienced this issue with the Driver Updater, and thank you for bringing this to our attention.

To help us investigate further, would you be willing to send the following files to our support team via email, using support@ccleaner.com ?

  1. C:\Program Files\CCleaner\LOG\
    DriverUpdaterLib.log

  2. C:\Program Files\
    CCleaner\Data\DUState.dat

  3. C:\Windows\INF\
    setupapi.dev.log

Additionally, can you please send us a report from the System Information utility in Windows?

You can save the System Information report using the following steps:

  1. Open the "Run" dialog in Windows (On the keyboard, hold the "Windows" (?name=Windows+Logo.png) and "R" keys simultaneously)
  2. Type: msinfo32.exe > click OK
  3. Click File > Save...

Hi tmp_trash, different providers use different number versioning. For example Intel may use one number while Microsoft might use a slightly different system. To detemrine which driver to provide, our checks factor in the date a driver was released and by whom.

We do understand that this can appear confusing to customers so we are working on improving the messaging on this screen.
