Silasgwf
I have seen multiple people ask this question, and all answers say 'turn off smart cleaning'. I have made sure all my smart cleaning settings are turned off. I am running Windows 10 Pro 64-bit and I am using the free version of CCleaner. Any help would be appreciated as I am considering just uninstalling CCleaner.
Moderators Nergal Posted May 31, 2021 Moderators Share Posted May 31, 2021 the devs are looking into this ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
