commdude Posted July 27, 2006 Share Posted July 27, 2006 I am extremely happy with this product. However, I checked my recoverable files with a checker after running CCleaner. I found that I could not recover the files in my Recycle Bin which was expected; BUT found that all of the files deleted by CCleaner that were NOT in the recycle bin when the program completed the cleanup were fully recoverable. TheFiresInTheSky Posted July 27, 2006 Share Posted July 27, 2006 welcome to CC commdude! files are not permenantly deleted till they are over-written. please go to Ccleaner>options>settings>secure file deletion. set that to 7 passes, then see if you can still recover the files.
