Moderators Nergal 0 Posted March 30 Moderators Share Posted March 30 What antivirus do you use? What version of Windows are you using? ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. CCLEANER, RECUVA, DEFRAGGLER AND SPECCY DOCUMENTATION CAN BE FOUND AT https://support.piriform.com/hc/en-us and https://www.ccleaner.com/docs Pro users file a PRIORITY SUPPORT request at https://support.piriform.com/hc/en-us/requests/new link to WINAPP2.INI explanation

Admin Andrei CCleaner 0 Posted April 7 Admin Share Posted April 7 Hello @IQuqa can you please add our setup to your anti virus exception list or just temporarily deactivate your anti virus protection during your install process and see if this will still happen on your device ? IQuqa 0
Thank you for your concern; I fixed the problem. The solution was not far a way from what you said. There was a relation (which I cannot understand since I am a loyal user for CCeaner for more than 10 years) between my Antivirus and CCleaner. I was able to install CCleaner after removing Kaspersky completely from my device. Thank you.
Moderators Andavari 2 Posted April 8 Moderators Share Posted April 8 Kaspersky has a large list of programs that they deem incompatible with their antivirus solution. Sometimes it's caused by the antivirus being out-of-date, that was the case awhile ago with Trend Micro where the users had to manually download the newest antivirus version and install it from the publisher website because it wasn't upgrading the installed version itself. Thank you for declaring things. It helps a lot. Regards
