IE7 Toolsbar missing

Hey all, installed IE7 last week and wondered where the Favorites/tabs toolbar is, also the bar which says 'file | edit | view | favorites' etc........

another thing is how can i get the favicon from IE7 so i can just basically have it?

this might or might not work but try to go to Internet Options from the Control Panel. under the General tab, it should have a section called tabs. click on that and try to enable the tabbar. if that doesn't work, then in the Internet Options window, go to Advanced and click Reset. no, not Advanced Reset. just Reset.

You need an icon extractor--

Or if you copy your IEXPLORE.EXE & zip it up & email it to me I can extract the icons for you.

 

The xp IE6 version is about 95 KBs.

I just checked my attachments to posts & it seems you could attach the .zip to a post for downloading.

 

I attached 2 IE icon resource files & one icon extracted from a.ico resource file.
