New Tab shortcuts

Recommended Posts

is there an option to set the new tab shortcut in a way that they stick?

I keep getting the Booking.com shortcut as the first option, although I've removed it numerous times ?!

and the shortcuts that I put there myself - disappear after the browser restarts...

It's a Chromium based browser so this should be the same:

Note that there is a difference between the Startup Page and the page for new tabs.

If that doesn't do just what you are wanting then look at the many 'new tab' extensions available for Chrome.

there is a problem with the New Tab shortcuts:

The settings I make to the New Tab page shortcuts don't stick:

After some time (it's inconsistent) the New Tab page shortcuts reset to the default setting.

The shortcuts that I added there myself - disappear.

The shortcuts that the browser decides (how??) to put there - reappear ALTHOUGH I removed them. (for example - Booking.com  always comes back to be the first, although I never use it, and I've removed it numerous times!!

A single browser restart or signing off from Windows or a single Computer restart did not produce it. But after a few days I encounter the same problem again.

No need to start 2 threads, I've merged them together.

See the reply above.

Thanks for the merging.

Your above reply does not help:

My Chrome doesn't behave like that, all the changes I make - remain.

In CCleaner Browser - they don't.
