D2S Posted November 9, 2020 Share Posted November 9, 2020 I tried moving several cookies from the left side to the right side but when I re-open Ccleaner they have moved back to the left side??? This has never happened before??? I recently changed my settings in Win-7 to require the Administrator approval before making any changes to my computer, so I opened Ccleaner to 'Run as Administrator' and there are no cookies on the left side to move to the right side??? Please check this email for additional information (and some links that may help you while you wait)", but I never receive any support help??? If yes, are you submitting the support requests under the same email address you used to subscribe? ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Guest Stephen CCleaner Posted November 10, 2020 Share Posted November 10, 2020 Hi D2S, this is not something I have heard reported before, although it seems plausible that the Administrator change could have effected things. CCleaner needs these privileges to do most of its cleaning. I would suggest uninstalling and reinstalling CCleaner and seeing if that resolves the issue. You may want to back up your CCleaner settings which are stored in the Registry before you uninstall: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Piriform\CCleaner Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Piriform\CCleaner Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
