Trying to recover deleted files from a 3CX PBX on windows 2012 R2

Good evening,

I have a client with a 3CX PBX running on windows 2012 server.

This client records all calls and retains them for 1 year.  We are trying to recover the files that have been deleted from the PBX daily.  Every day the system will delete the same day's recording from the previous year.

 

The path for recordings is C:\ProgramData\3CX\Instance1\Data\Recordings

 

I have installed Recuva and attempted to recover deleted files.  I find no files in this directory at all.  I have tried the sub files (each extension has its own folder) with the same result.  When run on the entire disk it finds plenty of files, but not what I am looking for.  I thought at a minimum I would have found the files removed over the last few days.  Any ideas?
