Zakhwan05 0
I had never install this PrintDialog program and I can't uninstall it. I can't seem to find where is the location of the main files or the registry key. That program also isn't available in windows default programs uninstaller. Can someone please guide me on how to remove this particular program from CCleaner uninstall list
Moderators hazelnut 6 Posted August 14, 2020 Moderators Share Posted August 14, 2020 I use Windows 10 version 2004 CCleaner also shows PrintDialog in my uninstall list so I think you can stop worrying. I will try and find out some more info about why it is there.. Moderators nukecad 7 Posted August 14, 2020 Moderators Share Posted August 14, 2020 Is this a new setup? Everthing there (apart from Nvidia) is showing as intalled today. I'd guess the printdialog was part of the install of one of the others. Try a Restart (not Shutdown) and see if that will clear it. *** Out of Beer Error ->->-> Recovering Memory *** Worried about 'Tracking Files'? Worried about why some files come back after cleaning? Moderators hazelnut 6 Posted August 14, 2020 Moderators Share Posted August 14, 2020 I think it may be something to do with Win Updates? It shows mine as having been installed on the 11th when I did the last lot of Win Updates. Did you do yours today? Moderators nukecad 7 Posted August 14, 2020 Moderators Share Posted August 14, 2020 It's part of Windows and controls the printing UI when called from various apps, so that they can use the common Windows print UI rather than each having it's own different one. It's probably been put there by one of the C+ redisributables or pdanet+, but any app that prints can modify/use it. https://www.c-sharpcorner.com/uploadfile/mahesh/printdialog-in-C-Sharp/ *** Out of Beer Error ->->-> Recovering Memory *** Worried about 'Tracking Files'? Moderators hazelnut 6 Posted August 14, 2020 Moderators Share Posted August 14, 2020 Could be, but CCleaner shouldn't put it in the uninstall list, that's wrong. Windows itself doesn't list it in Apps or the old Control Panel (programs and Features). Yes I just installed the Windows today and everything is new that is why I am wondering just where did that PrintDialog came from. I can't even uninstall it

I have asked CCleaner admins for more info about it. https://community.ccleaner.com/topic/59129-unknown-programs-in-ccleaner-uninstall-list/?tab=comments#comment-322953 CCleaner documentation can be found here https://www.ccleaner.com/docs/ccleaner Support contact https://support.piriform.com/hc/en-us/requests/new support@ccleaner.com

How I'm at home I've checked my laptop and I also have it showing in CCleaner Uninstall - But on mine it's showing as installed on 28/05/2020, which is when I updated to Win10 2004. However I haven't done this weeks Patch Tuesday updates yet, which I guess may reinstall/update it? It's still a bit of a mystery of why it's showing in CCleaner Uninstall like that? However the fact that CCleaner can't uninstall it and that the other options, (and the boxes on the right), are greyed out indicates that it's one of the Windows default apps; you see the same thing with other Windows default apps such as the Microsoft Store that can't be uninstalled normally either. (PS. Your screenshot does seem particularly bereft of all those Windows default apps?) *** Out of Beer Error ->->-> Recovering Memory *** Worried about 'Tracking Files'? Yeah I uninstalled all of the unused default windows apps using the CCleaner itself
TimEW 0
I have several computers and all at current windows update + Ccleaner and this particular one has PrintDialog and can not remove it. I don't think it's part of windows update.
Admin johnccleaner 0 Posted January 8 Admin Share Posted January 8 http://windowsbulletin.com/files/exe/microsoft-corporation/windows-10-operating-system/printdialog-exe It's part of Windows. I've got it showing on one of my computers too, though not the other, curiously, both on update 2004. May have to look into that and make sure they're both up-to-date. In any event, I'd say leave it alone. It doesn't bite.
Admin johnccleaner 0 Posted January 8 Admin Share Posted January 8 (I, ah, certainly wouldn't try to follow the prompts on that page though, it looks like they held to their template a little more closely than intended. "3. Follow the prompts to remove Windows 10 Operating System." )
