NAME & PASSWORD CANNOT BE RECOGNIZEND

Recommended Posts

Just bought this morning the under your reference number[ref number removed from public view] the product CCleaner Professional 1 Year, 1 home PC.

I have downloaded and installed the software, but while I was trying to register the product with provided registration data, received this response “The registration information is invalid. Please re-enter your details.” I tried a few times more, but still receive the same response. Provided registration data from your side DO NOT WORK.

Please help, Thank you,

Hi, don't post your reference number and copy of reference like that, they could be used for nefarious purposes. I've removed them from the post.

I've, also, punched this up to the admins but lets try a bit first while we wait for them.

Instead of typing your key and name into the registration boxes, try copying each out of the email and pasting them into the boxes.  This will curb mistypes like I for 1 or O for 0.  Make sure your typing the name as you registered it as this can stop the key from working (if you registered as john but you typed in Jonathon it won't register), however this is fixed by copying the name from the email.

ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION

DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.

Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)

ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.

Same here. I cut and pasted both the name and the key.

Had the registration info resent (just in case)

No joy. I suspect there is something systemic going on

I have contacted support/ confirmed
