John Faller
I've noticed that when I close Chrome browser I no longer get a notification. I then run cleaner manually and it finds cache etc to clean. It works as normal with Opera.
Moderators Nergal Posted March 27, 2020 Moderators Share Posted March 27, 2020 Make sure chrome is actually closing, background apps such as cloud print or sync, or a badly coded add-on are causes of this. Exit chrome then check task manager for any chrome processes, including chrome exe or plugincontainer. ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. John Faller
Uninstalled Chrome and then re-installed it and that seems to have fixed it.
