Duplicate threads merged.

Whilst I've not seen that particular one reported, some users are having problems with v5.64 not installing.
The developers are working on it.

If v5.63 is still working for you then stick with that until a new version is released.
If you need to reinstall v5.63 (or an earlier version) then you can find it on the right of the page here: https://filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/

@rjlewis5390, @Tom Moreland: could we trouble you to run the following and share your results please?

systeminfo | findstr /B /C:"OS Name" /C:"OS Version"

The output should look something like this:

Piriform Homepage - [CCleaner - CCleaner Mac - CCleaner Android - CCleaner Browser - Recuva - Speccy - Kamo] - Product Support

I had the same issue:  right click your CCleaner icon and look for the "compatibility"

selector...click on it.  It will now ask you if you want to run the compatibility utility

and to test the settings it has developed...then if the program runs correctly go back

to the compatibility utility and save the settings.

Dave CCleaner, your post helped! The problem is solved.   I posted the same question under a different title as my queries in the Search didn't come up with this topic.  If you are in Admin feel free to delete my post made today.
