CCleaner browser has taken over

I've asked for an update on what is happening regarding this issue.

I had the same problem, I tried to uninstall with CCleaner, and directly with Windows, but it looked like CCleaner browser was running and didn't let windows uninstall. It just asked me if I wanted to uninstall and then nothing happens, and I could not finish nor end with task manager the process running CCleaner browser. What I did? For me this worked.

First just using CCleaner in the Start up part, I disabled CCleaner browser from initiating on turning on computer.

Then just restarted (made sure CCleaner wasn't running) and tried again to uninstall with Windows and it worked. Hope it works for someone.
