Alecos
I just downloaded the portable version of CClenaer and I just uploaded to Virus Total: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/d8ca6586701c170325728c652a18c40cb5d25ff67f24089fb7d6d43927690b1e/detection CCleaner v5.64.7613 is affected by BScope.Trojan.Snojan or is safe? Thanks for your patience.
Moderators nukecad Posted March 5, 2020 Moderators Share Posted March 5, 2020 I'd say that's a False Positive by only a single engine, the other 61 results there tell you that it's clean. (VBA32 is not very well known and is meant for use on networked systems). You always get some FP's on virus total, especially for new versions of software, some AV engines are slow to catch up with changes, will be cautious, and flag anything new. Of course it could be that one obscure, little used, AV has spotted something that all the big boys didn't, but it much more likely to be a FP. EDIT- I've just scanned the portable .zip with Malwarebytes which came back clean, that's good enough for me. *** Out of Beer Error ->->-> Recovering Memory *** Worried about 'Tracking Files'? Worried about why some files come back after cleaning?
