v5.63.7540 not clearing Office 365 recent documents

That will probably be because Office 365 is synced.

CCleaner can only clear your machine, it can't touch Microsofts servers.
(and for security reasons you wouldn't want anything but Microsoft to have access to their servers).

That does mean that if you use CCleaner to delete, or delete in any other way, anything that you have synced (settings, bookmarks, recent lists, etc.) it will simply restore itself from the cloud next time you open Office 365.

You'll have to remove those settings/lists from with Office 365 itself to get rid of them from Microsofts servers.

You see the same thing with browsers, if you have your browser synced then any setting etc. you delete from your machine will simply be synced back from the cloud the next time you open the browser.
