centurion
I've been using CCleaner pro for a long time with no problems...after running a clean I tried a disk clean up..by clicking the windows logo on the keyboard and R at the same time...by typing in cleanmgr then OK..it cleaned up about 8gb of unnecessary files...I noticed my computer worked a lot faster after that...so I will be using both methods
Moderators Andavari Posted January 15, 2020 Moderators Share Posted January 15, 2020 It's best used in conjunction alongside Windows Disk Cleanup! Windows Disk Cleanup is able to clean some things that most 3rd party cleaning tools have absolutely no business ever messing with since they have the potential of damaging Windows, such as removal of; Windows.old folder, Device driver packages, Windows Update, Language resource files, etc. For additional cleaning you could try the community Winapp2.ini cleaning file available on this forum at:https://forum.piriform.com/topic/32310-winapp2ini-additions/
