Moderators TwistedMetal Posted November 8, 2019 Moderators Share Posted November 8, 2019 Are you still getting it? Sometimes this happens when their server goes down. Just let us know if you see it again. AZMountainGeek
I have the same problem. Just checked the license within CCleaner it returned the message 'Invalid Key'. (It's still good for nearly another year.)
Moderators nukecad Posted November 8, 2019 Moderators Share Posted November 8, 2019 It's probably a licence server error or outage. Aparently it's an old server and Piriform are aware of this problem and are frustrated about it too. (I'm guessing that it keeps dropping out and so CCleaner can't read the list of licence dates?) They have said they are getting a brand new licence server up and running this month. I'd just ignore it until the new server is online. *** Out of Beer Error ->->-> Recovering Memory *** Worried about 'Tracking Files'? Worried about why some files come back after cleaning? AJsGmaDingy
I just got the same 'expiration notice' twice within the last 30 minutes and my subscription should be good through August 27th of 2020. Not sure what's going on but it's disturbing to say the least.
Moderators nukecad Posted November 8, 2019 Moderators Share Posted November 8, 2019 Quote We are hoping to swap over to a new server in the next couple of weeks - after which the old server will be thrown into the same dark flaming pit for troublesome hardware as the old speccy server was earlier this year recycled in an environmentally conscious manner. Bruins37
I also got this notice. It says my license key is invalid, but it's not due to expire until February of next year.
f14tomcat
Me, too. All my machines. Not possible they all are expiring.
Moderators nukecad Posted November 9, 2019 Moderators Share Posted November 9, 2019 It definitely seems to be the licence server that is playing up , we are seeing numerous reports of this here on the forum today. We have flagged it up to those who can do something about it, and hopefully they will have it fixed soon. I'd just ignore these notices for now. *** Out of Beer Error ->->-> Recovering Memory *** Worried about 'Tracking Files'? Worried about why some files come back after cleaning?
