bronzewing
My laptop has an Intel core i5-10210U (which is detected correctly) but it says that the code name is Kaby Lake. However I know and I've confirmed that the specific processor is under Intel's Comet Lake series. Is this issue there for others too?
Moderators Andavari Posted November 2, 2019 Moderators Share Posted November 2, 2019 You should get second opinions with other free tools such as CPU-Z and HWiNFO. Although something listed in hardware detection tools that looks like it's derived from something older as in the case with a CPU is often just an evolutionary update of a previous CPU family that they've rebranded/renamed - I saw similar surprises with my i7-8550u. Idepad S530
Hey, I have the same cpu, and I checked with cpu-z, mine is comet lake, the problem still exists
