Recycle Bin Files - Cleaning Complete Advanced Report

Recommended Posts

Every time I run a custom clean, it shows exactly 584 additional files in the Recycle Bin that never seem to go away.  For example, if the Recycle Bin in empty and I run CCleaner, the Cleaning Complete  Advanced Report shows 584 files were deleted from the bin.  If I delete any number of files and run CCleaner, the Cleaning Complete  Advanced Report will show those files plus 584.

I've tried a complete reinstall to the latest version, but still the same.

It sounds as if you have a corrupted recycle bin, it happens from time to time.

Here's a link to how to fix it for Windows 10, it works for Windows 7 or 8.1 as well.
