ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION

DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.

Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)

ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.

How many people go into the event viewer and choose custom view anyway.

As noted on a previous thread quite a few of these reported 'breakages' are caused by doing something that no everyday user would do.

It's almost as if someone was deliberately looking for glitches in odd corners so that they can then shout 'It's all broken'.

OK these things probably shouldn't happen, but have you ever seen any software without a glitch or two?
Usually they are not as big a problem as some would like you to believe, in fact most people would never even notice them.

Worried about 'Tracking Files'? Worried about why some files come back after cleaning? See this link:

Something else that is glitched in v1803 and v1903 is when selecting a small 4x4 pixels wallpaper and tiling it. Go back into there to change the wallpaper and it's blank as in the whole page that allows you to change wallpaper - at least in my brief testing. Rebooting however remedies it, and not a huge issue if the OS is installed on an SSD for fast rebooting.
