Moderators Nergal Posted June 12, 2019 Moderators Share Posted June 12, 2019 This time it's custom views in event viewer https://www.ghacks.net/2019/06/12/windows-10-event-viewer-error-after-installing-kb4503293-and-kb4503327/ ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. Moderators hazelnut Posted June 13, 2019 Moderators Share Posted June 13, 2019 How many people go into the event viewer and choose custom view anyway. Luckily it doesn't happen to me Support contact https://support.ccleaner.com/s/contact-form?language=en_US&form=general or support@ccleaner.com
Moderators Andavari Posted June 13, 2019 Moderators Share Posted June 13, 2019 Mine has the error on v1803 (which I restored a disk image to use because of issues in v1903.) Not that I'm in the Event Viewer at all though!

As noted on a previous thread quite a few of these reported 'breakages' are caused by doing something that no everyday user would do. It's almost as if someone was deliberately looking for glitches in odd corners so that they can then shout 'It's all broken'. OK these things probably shouldn't happen, but have you ever seen any software without a glitch or two? Usually they are not as big a problem as some would like you to believe, in fact most people would never even notice them. *** Out of Beer Error ->->-> Recovering Memory *** Worried about 'Tracking Files'? Moderators Andavari Posted June 14, 2019 Moderators Share Posted June 14, 2019 Something else that is glitched in v1803 and v1903 is when selecting a small 4x4 pixels wallpaper and tiling it. Go back into there to change the wallpaper and it's blank as in the whole page that allows you to change wallpaper - at least in my brief testing. Rebooting however remedies it, and not a huge issue if the OS is installed on an SSD for fast rebooting.
