CC automatically accessing the web?

Hi

 

I'm sure this is all normal but could anyone clarify for this newbie what CC is doing when it seeks to automatically access 203.96.152.4 without telling me? My Firewall blocks this and before I configure it to allow CC through, I'd quite like to know what is going on.

Hi jgg, Welcome To The Forum

 

I would imagine Ccleaner is connecting to the Internet to check if there is any updates available which can be enabled or disabled by opening the Ccleaner > Options > Settings menu.

 

The IP appears to be for TelstraClear so maybe that is your ISP , try unchecking the automatically check for updates option and see if that helps.
