TokieMoon
I have the CCleaner Professional version and just started using Brave as my default browser. It appears the CCleaner does not work with Brave. Is there anything I can do to utilize the CCleaner? I Piriform working on including Brave?
APMichael
You can add the browser to CCleaner using one of the following methods:https://www.ccleaner.com/docs/ccleaner/advanced-usage/ccleaner-ini-files/how-to-clean-user-data-from-non-standard-mozilla-browsers CustomLocation1=CHROME|path_to_user_profile:https://forum.piriform.com/search/?q=CustomLocation1=CHROME Example: CustomLocation1=CHROME|C:\Users\<your user name>\AppData\Local\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser\User Data\Default
TokieMoon
Thank you, APMicahel, for responding. However, I am a novice and the two suggestions you provided are above my computer skills.
Moderators Andavari Posted June 3, 2019 Moderators Share Posted June 3, 2019 I'm surprised they haven't included that ability to add in a custom location using CCleaner itself, instead of by means outside of the program since the ability to add via CCleaner locations to clean or exclude, etc., has existed for years. vineydhiman
Starting with CCleaner v5.66 added full cleaning support for Brave and Vivaldi browsers. It means you can independently clean browsing history for the browser just like Chrome, FIrefox and others. Moderators nukecad Posted April 30, 2020 Moderators Share Posted April 30, 2020 Why are you posting this on the CCleaner forum? We already know about it. Unless of course you were trying to spam your website, in which case it hasn't worked - and don't try it again. *** Out of Beer Error ->->-> Recovering Memory *** Worried about 'Tracking Files'?
