WW1aero Posted May 20, 2019 Share Posted May 20, 2019 I get an error, "Error opening file for writing" when trying to update to free CCleaner v 5.57.7182 (for Windows). (Currently running v 5.56.7144 64 bit) Registry errors shown: 1. Application Paths Issue 2. Missing MUI Reference Tried several downloads and they all stop right at the beginning. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
