ship69
Hello Why doesn't CCleaner actually empty my Recycle bin, even after I tick: CCleaner (on left) ==> Windows (tab) ==> System ==> Empty Recycle Bin ==> Run CCleaner. ?? Surely half the whole POINT of CCleaner was to delete such temporary stuff, no? J
Moderators hazelnut Posted May 1, 2019 Moderators Share Posted May 1, 2019 Empty Recycle Bin is ticked by default under System. There should be no need to tick it. What Operating System are you using? What version of CCleaner (build number) ? What happens regarding the bin, including any error message, when you run CCleaner ? Does your bin empty normally if you open it and delete contents that way (not using CCleaner) ?
