ukheather
Nevermind I solved it. It takes about 2 mins after closing the browser to be able to see them which is a bit different than it was with chrome lol. I switched to edge and since cookies do not show under settings as you can see. Any ideas why?
Moderators nukecad Posted January 31, 2019 Moderators Share Posted January 31, 2019 Cheers, That shows that Edge is still shutting down (running) in the background for some minutes after you close it. CC cannot clean things that are still running. We can explain this to others who complain about cleaning Edge. And it might also explain why IE hangs when cleaning History? Edge and IE do share some things. *** Out of Beer Error ->->-> Recovering Memory *** Worried about 'Tracking Files'? Worried about why some files come back after cleaning? Moderators Andavari Posted February 1, 2019 Moderators Share Posted February 1, 2019 Like I've stated in other topics about IE's History (Win10), usually just opening Edge and then closing it will allow both Edge and IE to be cleaned by CCleaner. Of course allot of the cleaning issues associated with modern web browsers can be remedied if people would just configure their web browsers (and that's any of them) to just automatically cleanse themselves when they're exited.
