MRccleaner
Since I updated, Registry repair is not creating a backup .reg file before it runs (under Windows 10 1809). Is there a way to enable it?
Moderators Andavari Posted December 15, 2018 Moderators Share Posted December 15, 2018 Look in the Documents folder on your computer, that's supposed to be the default location.
MRccleaner
Yup. Older .reg files are there, but none created since update to 5.51.6939.
Guest Ben CCleaner
Can you please ensure that "Show prompt to backup registry issues" is ticked in under Options > Advanced
MRccleaner
It is (and was) checked.
Moderators Andavari Posted December 18, 2018 Moderators Share Posted December 18, 2018 I've tested it on my system (Win10 v1803) and can't repeat it, it's working correct for me.
MRccleaner
After rebooting several times (and manually creating a just-in-case Restore Point), I just tried it again -- AND IT OPERATED CORRECTLY asking if I wanted to create a .reg backup. Thanks for the support efforts, all.
