Lisa West
In the Advanced section of Settings I have Skip User Account Control selected yet it never skips. This is a multi-user, Windows 10 Home 64-bit (Insider edition currently, but previously on official builds), Dell XPS mini-tower. I am the Administrator and I created one other admin and two limited user accounts. Any suggestions appreciated.
Moderators Nergal Posted December 9, 2018 Moderators Share Posted December 9, 2018 I believe that the task created for skipuac is a per user instance. Does it skip on the account you enabled the preference on. ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. So enabling the preference brings up UAC for starting Windows and seemingly stops the loading.
