Moderators nukecad Posted November 20, 2018 Author Moderators Share Posted November 20, 2018 Up to now this discount offer has been- A summer Sale, A xx billion download party, A gift for you, and now a Black Friday sale. No doubt it will be a Christmas Present next. (Then New Year sale, spring discount, Easter gift, etc). Why not just cut the standard price and stop bugging people with pop-ups? *** Out of Beer Error ->->-> Recovering Memory *** Worried about 'Tracking Files'? You consider this to be a good business move, by hassling users with a spammy pop-up, every time the program is run? Piriform will wind up losing customers with this practice. This is worse than spam, since it is directly on my desktop. Program will be uninstalled and will never use any Piriform products again, after this. Your email address, will also be blocked, to avoid further nags.

I don't agree with it, but most people are indeed fooled by the advertisement. piriform wants new less computer savy users to use ccleaner, and has decided that those users might want pro (why idk, none of the features speak to low-knowledge users).
