Farmboyco
Have noticed for some time now in Win 7 & 10 that it may take 3-5 minutes for cc to do its job. Ran Superantispyware utility for unwanted programs. It found one spyware that had entries for 164 different ad sites. Remove this one spyware and now it may take 5 seconds for cc to do its job. Thought others may have interest in this or a similar solution. Everything on my entire machine was twice as fast in every program on the entire machine.....Amazing what one ad ware does for a computer
Moderators Andavari Posted November 20, 2018 Moderators Share Posted November 20, 2018 SuperAntiSpyware may list advertisement cookies as "spyware" or whatever terminology it uses and show a ton of them on a system -- but at the end of the day they are just cookies (some put there by the Windows OS itself) and they're not an active infection. Cookies can be deleted by the web browser they reside in, or via a cleaning tool like CCleaner.
