Simone98RC
With my PC configuration, the info shown about RAM are not complete: the memory type is recognized by Speccy as Unknown. The RAM I'm using is G.Skill Trident Z 3000 CL5 2x8GB (F4-3000C15D-16GTZB). Moderators mta Posted October 23, 2018 Moderators Share Posted October 23, 2018 Cheers. looks like the firmware has the usual fields populated. just Speccy that can't work something out! you've done all you can, the Devs may eventually see this but if other Speccy issues are anything to judge off, don't hold your breathe waiting for acknowledgement or resolution. So you're confirming that's a Speccy related issue? Devs will see this report, or I need to send it outside the forum? 7 minutes ago, trium said: a special edition? more voltage and more speed? In BIOS settings I've enabled the XMP profile, that let me able to reach 3000 Mhz of frequency (instead of the default 2133 Mhz). XMP profile - as you know - overwrites automatic DRAM values with fixed latency and voltage. So there's no overclock. Ps sorry for a little mistake in the main post: the DRAM frequency is 3000 Mhz (like reported here), and not 3200 Mhz. I'll correct it asap! Moderators mta Posted October 24, 2018 Moderators Share Posted October 24, 2018 Speccy also shows Unknown for my RAM, has done for ages. I think it's trying to display the memory type; DDR3, DDR4 etc and either can't find the info pre-set in the firmware or can't work it out based on internal logic. yes the Admins/Devs will see this report however acknowledgements or responses are very rare. With default frequency and latency, I still see the Unknown RAM type.
